AirProtector: Compact air purifier

Developed by Toyota CRDL, the visible-light responsive photocatalyst (V-CAT®) technology can be used for decomposing organic materials and deactivating bacteria and viruses, with expected effectiveness in (1) deodorizing, (2) antifouling, (3) antibacterial, (4) antiviral, and (5) antiallergen applications not only outdoors but also indoors. Furthermore, the metal ions contained in V-CAT® provide antibacterial and antiviral effects even in the dark place.
